Valentine's Day Pie

1 c Water 
1 - 3 oz pkg Strawberry Gelatin 
1 pt Vanilla Ice Cream (2 cups) 
1 Chocolate flavored crumb pie shell 
Milk chocolate kisses 

1. In a 4-cup glass measuring cup stir together water and gelatin. Cook, uncovered, on 100% power (high) for 1 1/2 to2 minutes.
 2. Add vanilla ice cream to the hot gelatin mixture, stirring till ice cream is melted. Chill mixture for 35 to 30 minutes, stirring twice during chilling (the mixture should mound when you drop it from a spoon.)
 3. Pour chilled ice cream mixture into pie shell. Chill about 4 hours or till ice cream is set. 
4. Arrange milk chocolate kisses in a heart shape atop pie. Serves 8.  


Easy Valentine Cheesecake 
Graham cracker pie shell
 1 can Cherry or strawberry fruit pie filling or topping
 8 oz Cream cheese
 8 oz Non-dairy whipped topping 
1/4 c Powdered sugar 

Mash the cream cheese with a fork.
 Add the whipped topping and powdered sugar.
 Beat until smooth.
 Pour into the pie shell and chill. 
Add the fruit topping and chill again.

 Jello Strawberry Bavarian Pie
This recipe is from "Best Recipes" From the Backs of Boxes, Bottles, Cans and Jars by Ceil Dyer

1 3-ounce package Jello strawberry gelatin
1 tbs sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1 cup boiling water 
1/2 cup cold water
1 10 ounce package frozen strawberries
1 cup whipped topping
1 baked 9-inch pie cooked shell 

Dissolve Jello, sugar and salt in boiling water. Add cold water and frozen strawberries. Stir gently until fruit thaws and separates. Chill until slightly thickened. Chill until slightly thickened. Add whipped topping; blend until smooth. (Mixture may appear slightly curdled but will smooth out on blending.) Pour into pie shell. Chill until firm, about 4 hours. Garnish with additional whipped topping. 


 Pink Chiffon Fruit Salad

1 small package strawberry Jello
1 can crushed pineapple, drained
1/2 cups pecans
2 bananas, sliced
1/2 cup sugar 
1 small package strawberries and juice
1/2 pint. cream, whipped
1 package Dream Whip, prepared 

Dissolve Jello in 1 cup hot water using the juice off pineapple to make second cup of liquid. Let jello partially set. Fold in whipped cream and dream Whip. Add fruit. Let set
